This is event is also the USATF Road 5K State Championship. All USATF members will be eligible for age group awards at no additional price. In addition, this event is a part of the New Mexico USATF Grand Prix race series that has prize money at designated races and at the end of the series in male/female & open/masters divisions. To be eligible you must be a USATF 2016 New Mexico member and put your number on each race series registration for.

June 24, 2017 - The Native American 5K National Championship is open to all American Indian /Alaska Natives and First Nations people of Canada.

The Community 5k Run is open to all with no restrictions. The 5k course is a two-loop paved flat course designed for extremely fast altitude times. All divisions of the 5K run are eligible for state age group records.

From I-25: West on Paseo del Norte to Coors exit. Go south on Coors to first stop light (Frontage Rd) and turn left (east) Continue ½ mile on to school campus.
From I-40: North on Coors 5 miles to Frontage Rd and stop light. Turn right (east) ½ miles onto school campus.
*A RAM Service Station and SIPI sign is located at the stop light. SIPI campus is directly east of the intersection.
